How much would it cost to hire a limo for prom?
Prom is priced per booking, not per head, and the number comes from the car, the date, the hours and how many houses we collect from. A stretch limousine carrying 14 costs the same whether 10 or 14 travel, so the more of you share it, the less each family pays. Tell us the school, the date and the pickup list and we send one price for the night. Our published flat rates cover airport trips only.

For parents
What you are actually agreeing to when you book.
Parents book prom and parents pay for it, so this section is written for them rather than for the students. Here is exactly what happens on the night.
- We collect from the addresses you give us. Not a meeting point. The chauffeur goes door to door in the order you set, so nobody is walking anywhere in the dark.
- We return them to the same doors. The drop-off list is agreed when you book, and it is the list we drive. Changes on the night go through the adult who made the booking, not through the passengers.
- The chauffeur is background checked. Every driver passes a criminal record check before they carry anyone.
- One adult owns the booking. You get the driver's name and the car details before the night, and dispatch answers the phone at any hour if you want to know where the car is.
No alcohol, and we mean it. Our chauffeurs do not serve it and will not carry it for under-age passengers. If a group turns up with drink, the ride ends and the booking adult is called. Say that out loud to your teenager before the night and it never becomes an issue.
The money
How families usually split a prom limo.
One booking, one price, divided by the number of families. That is how nearly every prom group does it, and it is why the head count matters more than anything else you tell us.
A stretch limousine seats up to 14. The price is for the car, so a group of 12 pays the same as a group of 8 and each family pays noticeably less. If your group is smaller, a Sprinter van seating 10 or a luxury SUV seating 6 will usually come in lower than a stretch.
Decide the final list before you call. Groups that book for 10 and then add four more end up in a bigger car at a different price, and somebody has to go back round the parents asking for more money. Settle the number first and the rest is simple.
The night
How prom night runs from our side.
We work backwards from the time the school doors open. Give us that and the first pickup address, and we build the rest so the car reaches the venue with time to spare rather than exactly on the hour.
Photographs at somebody's house before the venue are normal and we plan for them. Tell us where and roughly how long, and the car waits there rather than circling the block. The waiting is inside the price, not added afterwards.
At the end of the night the chauffeur is at the doors at the agreed time. If the evening finishes earlier than planned, call dispatch and we bring the pickup forward. If it runs late, the driver waits.
Booking
When to book a prom limo in Toronto.
Book in the winter for a spring prom. Toronto schools cluster their proms into a handful of Fridays and Saturdays in May and June, which means half the city wants a stretch limousine on the same four nights.
By April the good dates are thin. We run more than 50 vehicles so there is usually something, but the specific stretch car a group has set its heart on is the first thing to go. If your date is one of the busy ones, booking early is the whole trick.
Nothing is reserved until the booking is confirmed. Asking about availability does not hold a car, and on prom weekend that distinction matters.
The cars
Which car suits a prom group.
Count the group, then think about the dresses. Long gowns and a low stretch limousine are a harder combination than most groups expect, and it is worth knowing before the night rather than on the driveway.
- Stretch limousine, up to 14. The car most groups picture. Seating runs along the sides, so everyone faces in and the whole group travels together.
- Sprinter van, up to 10. A taller roof and a wider door. Far easier to get in and out of in a long dress, and the quieter choice for a group that wants to talk.
- Luxury SUV, up to 6. A Cadillac Escalade or Ford Expedition for a smaller group, and usually the cheapest way to move six.
If the group sits on the edge between two classes, book the larger one. Fourteen people in a car built for fourteen is a long evening, and nobody enjoys arriving creased.

Questions parents ask us
It is priced per booking, so the answer depends on the car, the date, the number of hours and how many addresses we collect from. Prom nights fall on the busiest Fridays and Saturdays of the year, which affects it too. Send those details and we quote the night as one number.
A full day is priced as a block of hours rather than a day rate. Tell us the start time, the finish time and the stops, and we hold the car and the chauffeur for that block. For a car by the hour outside events, see our hourly chauffeur service.
Eight passengers sits between two of our classes. A Sprinter van takes up to 10 and a stretch limousine up to 14, and either seats eight comfortably. The price follows whichever car we send, so give us the head count and we will price the sensible one.
Stay seated while the car is moving, keep food and open drinks out of it, and treat the chauffeur the way you would any adult doing a job. For prom specifically: no alcohol, and the booking adult is called if that rule is broken.
