Buffalo Niagara International Airport is in Cheektowaga, New York, about 160 km from downtown Toronto. People use it for cheaper US fares, for flights that do not leave from Pearson, and for connections that suit them better. The drive is around two hours by the QEW and the Peace Bridge, plus whatever the border takes on the day.

How long it takes
About two hours from downtown Toronto to the terminal on a clear run, before the border. Allow three on a holiday weekend or a Friday afternoon. For a US departure we suggest leaving at least four hours before the flight.
