Toronto Airport Transfer

What is the cheapest airport transfer in Toronto?

The cheapest is the UP Express train, $12.35 a person to Union Station, if you can carry your own bags and finish the trip on foot or by transit. The cheapest door-to-door option for one to three people is a licensed flat-rate car. Our sedan is $81 from Pearson to downtown Toronto, per car and not per person. Tolls and free flight tracking are inside that price, and it is the same number at any hour.

  • Pearson T1 and T3
  • Free flight tracking
  • Flat rate, no meter
  • 24/7 dispatch
  • All cards accepted

What you get

A private airport transfer, one price in both directions.

An airport transfer is a single run in one direction. Either we collect you at home, at the office or at a hotel and drive you to the terminal, or we meet your arriving flight and drive you to the address you gave us. Nothing is worked out at the curb.

Your chauffeur is there a few minutes before the time you booked. He gets out of the car, loads the bags, and opens the door. Coming home he already has the address, so you do not have to explain it to anybody after a long flight.

The price is fixed before you ride. Tolls are in it and tracking costs nothing extra, so a delay does not change the number. Pay by card in the car or online, and take 5% off when you book the return leg too.

Every ride is in a clean, late-model black car from our own fleet of more than 50 vehicles, and the chauffeur is licensed, vetted and in a suit. If you travel for work, a corporate account puts the same transfers on one monthly invoice, and all eight of the things we do are listed on the services page.

  • Door to terminal, or terminal to door. Home, office or hotel at one end. Pearson, Billy Bishop, Hamilton or Buffalo at the other.
  • Tolls and flight tracking included. The quoted number is the number you pay.
  • Help with the luggage at both ends.
  • Live dispatch, 24 hours a day.

Flight tracking

Pearson airport pickup that follows your flight.

Give us the airline and the flight number when you book, and we watch that flight. Tracking is free on every airport pickup. Here is what happens in the three cases people worry about.

The flight is early

We see the new landing time and bring the pickup forward. The car is at the terminal when you reach the doors. There is no charge for the change and no call for you to make.

The flight is late

Your pickup time moves with the plane and the chauffeur waits. A delay does not change the flat rate, whether the hold-up is weather, a late connection, or an hour on the tarmac.

The flight is cancelled

Call 647-361-8237 or reply to your booking email with the new flight and we move the booking across. Dispatch is staffed 24 hours a day, so a cancellation at two in the morning is answered then.

One field matters more than the rest. The flight number is what switches the tracking on. If you do not have it yet, book anyway and send it later to info@torontoairportlimousineservices.ca. Without it we can only work from the time you typed in.

Meeting points

Where your transfer meets you at each airport.

The John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport sign at the entrance
  1. Toronto Pearson (YYZ)

Terminal 1: collect your bags, then walk to Door A. Terminal 3: walk to Door 11. Speak to the Commissionaire at the pre-arranged post, give your name, and ask for Toronto Airport Limousine Service. International arrivals land at both terminals and customs takes longer, so the hour of waiting after landing is already in the price. The Pearson airport limo page has the terminal detail, and the airport pick up guide covers an arrival step by step.

    T1 Door A · T3 Door 11
  2. Billy Bishop (YTZ)

The island airport downtown. It is a small terminal, so it is a short walk out to the car once you are through.

  3. Hamilton (YHM)

Flat rate from anywhere in the GTA, with the same free flight tracking as Pearson.

  4. Buffalo Niagara (BUF)

Cross-border runs with a chauffeur who knows the crossing. Bring your passport and leave a little more time for the border.

Would rather not look for anybody? Add meet and greet and your chauffeur waits inside the terminal with a sign in your name. Every pickup point is on the locations page.

Luggage

Count the people, then count the baggage.

A bag means a full-size suitcase. Carry-on cases, backpacks and handbags ride in the cabin, so they do not use up the count. Golf clubs, skis and a pushchair take the room of a suitcase each. If your group is right on the limit, book the next size up. It costs far less than sending a second car.

Flat rates

Airport taxi flat rate or a limo flat rate?

Both are fixed prices, and that is where the likeness ends. Pearson's licensed taxis and limos charge an official flat rate by zone, roughly $50 to $70 for downtown Toronto, paid at the curb for whichever car is next in the line. Our flat rate is $81 for a sedan on the same run, in Canadian dollars, booked ahead in the vehicle you chose. The chauffeur holds your name at the door and your flight is tracked, so the car is there when you land. If a cheap taxi to Pearson is all you need, the zone rate is hard to beat. If you want the car booked, tracked and waiting, that is what a transfer is. Below are eight of the 112 cities we price.

FAQ

Questions people ask about airport transfers in Toronto

Often yes off-peak, and often no at the hours people actually fly. A rideshare from Pearson to downtown is commonly in the $45 to $65 range, but surge pricing at busy times can push it past the taxi's official flat rate, which is roughly $50 to $70 for downtown. Neither one tracks your flight or holds a car for you. Our sedan is $81 with both, and the number is fixed before you land.

Licensed airport taxis at Pearson charge an official flat rate set by zone, and downtown Toronto falls in roughly the $50 to $70 range, paid on arrival for whichever cab is next. A pre-booked sedan with us is $81 for the same run, per car, with tolls, free flight tracking and a chauffeur waiting at Door A or Door 11 included.

The UP Express train from Union Station, $12.35 a person with a PRESTO card and 25 minutes to Terminal 1. The TTC's 900 Airport Express bus from Kipling station costs a regular fare and is cheaper still. Both mean carrying your own bags. A booked car costs more, $81 for a sedan from downtown, and collects you and the luggage at the door at the time you chose.

About 27 km, and usually 25 to 45 minutes by car. In the weekday evening rush allow up to an hour. Billy Bishop is already downtown, so that transfer is a few minutes once you are through the tunnel or off the ferry.

In Terminal 1, walk to Door A. In Terminal 3, walk to Door 11. At either one, go to the Commissionaire at the pre-arranged post, give your name, and ask for Toronto Airport Limousine Service. The Commissionaire calls your car forward. If you would rather be met inside the building, add meet and greet and your chauffeur waits by the doors with a sign in your name.

Delays are handled for you. We track the flight number you gave us, your pickup time moves with the plane, the chauffeur waits, and the flat rate does not change. If the flight is cancelled, call 647-361-8237 or reply to your booking email with the new flight and we move the booking across. Dispatch is live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Work back from the time your airline asks you to be at the terminal, then allow for the traffic at that hour of the day. If you are not sure, call us with your flight time and we will pick a pickup time with you. Your chauffeur then arrives a few minutes before it, so you are neither waiting nor rushing.

A sedan takes up to 3 passengers and 3 bags, an SUV up to 7 passengers and 6 bags, a Sprinter van up to 14 passengers and 10 bags, and a stretch limo up to 12 passengers and 8 bags. Carry-on cases and backpacks ride in the cabin and do not count. The fleet page has the full detail.
