Can you enter Pearson Airport to pick someone up?
Yes. Both terminals have an arrivals curb where a private car can stop for a moment, a free cell phone waiting area for up to 45 minutes, and an Express Pass that gives 20 free minutes in the terminal garage. What you cannot do is wait at the curb. A booked pickup skips all of it: our chauffeur waits at the pre-arranged post, your flight is tracked, and the price is fixed before the plane lands. How do I pick up a friend from the airport?
Check the flight number for the real landing time, go to the arrivals level of the right terminal, and either stop briefly at the curb once they are outside, wait in the free cell phone lot for up to 45 minutes, or take an Express Pass for 20 free minutes in the garage. Add half an hour for customs on an international flight. That is the do-it-yourself version.
The booked version: give us their name, the airline and the flight number, and the address they are going to. We track the flight, the chauffeur waits at the pre-arranged post at Door A or Door 11 with their name, loads the bags, and drives them home. You get the confirmation, and they get met. Parents, clients and children flying alone are the usual reasons.
Up to an hour of waiting after landing is inside every airport pickup, so customs and the carousel cost nothing extra. The price is fixed before the plane lands, tolls included, and the same at 3 a.m. as at 3 p.m. Book the drop-off for the return at the same time and the total is 5% lower.

The flight is late
Nothing is required from you. The pickup time follows the aircraft, the chauffeur waits, and the fixed price holds however long the hold-up runs.
The flight is cancelled
Reach dispatch on 647-361-8237, or reply to the booking email naming the replacement flight. The booking moves to it, whatever hour of the night that happens.
One detail changes everything here. Give us the flight number and the pickup follows the aircraft in. Leave it out and we are guessing from the time on the booking. You can always add it afterwards by emailing info@

Luggage
Which car to send for the pickup.
A bag means a full-size suitcase, the kind that comes off the belt. Anything you carried onto the aircraft rides in the cabin with you and does not count. Sports gear and a pushchair each take a suitcase of room. Groups landing right on the limit should book the next size up, which still costs less than a second car meeting you.

Questions people ask about airport pickups
Not for parking as such. Pearson's cell phone waiting area is free for up to 45 minutes if you stay with the car, and an Express Pass gives 20 free minutes in the Terminal 1 and 3 garages for a pickup or drop-off. Everything longer is paid, and waiting at the arrivals curb is not allowed.
At Terminal 1, rideshare pickups use ground-level zones outside doors P, Q, R and S. At Terminal 3 they use Zone 3 on the second outer curb of the arrivals level. Booked limos do not use those zones; they wait at the Commissionaire's pre-arranged post at Door A and Door 11.
